Mark McManus, our Chief Solutions Officer, is a trusted business advisor and innovative workplace educator. Mark has a proven track record, in either a leadership or advisory role, in helping businesses solve the complex challenges they face.
His knowledge and expertise are in the areas of:
(a) Coaching that helps people empower themselves in reaching their full potential
(b) Managing organizational change and transformation
(c) Workplace training
(d) Business strategy, including competitor intelligence
(e) Corporate governance & risk management, including financial crime prevention,
technology and cybersecurity.
In shifting the context to one of possibility, solutions and community, Mark helps frame a stronger sense of meaning to the work, with a focus on inclusiveness, engagement and results.
Mark’s career experience includes senior roles with Canadian financial services firms, a provincial securities regulator, and a Canadian global IT firm. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience in the non-profit sector, and as an officer in the Canadian Forces Reserve.
Mark is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP).
He earned a Master of Education degree, specializing in Workplace Learning and Organization Transformation from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario. Mark also holds a Diploma in Law and Security Administration and a Certificate in Financial Management from Algonquin College in Ottawa.
Mark is a Member of the Board and the Director, Mentorship & Certification for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Greater Toronto Chapter. He is a member of several professional organizations and speaks at various events.
